ASHTANGA YOGA

Procedures, Yoga Training, and Yoga Practice 

Our Yoga Teacher Training program in Dharamshala a comprehensive curriculum that includes procedures, yoga practice, and yoga asana adjustment. During the 200-hour training, you will learn Kriyas, bandhas, and mantras in Sanskrit. Our program caters to both Hatha Yoga instructors and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga coaches, from beginners to intermediate levels, covering all the necessary requirements.

Life systems of Yoga and Physiology

In this session, you will learn about the relationship between the human body's structure and the practice of yoga, including its benefits and contraindications. The session covers various systems of the body, such as the respiratory circulatory, digestive, endocrine, sensory, and musculoskeletal systems, as well as the yogic diet. Detailed explanations will be provided.

Yoga Theory and History of Yoga

The Bhagavad Gita

The Bhagavad Gita introduces four different ways of yoga: Karma Yoga, Bhakti, R Yoga, and Jnana. Additionally, you will learn about other beneficial holy texts such as the Hatha Pradipika and the Gheranda Samhita, as well as the Samkhya Philosophy and the Tantric foundations of yoga. We will provide you with essential information and additional topics to continue your personal growth and study in the future

Preparing Methodology 

We offer exclusive classes as part of our 200-hour yoga teacher training program in Dharamshala, India. Our program focuses on developing the essential qualities of a yoga instructor, including class planning, proper demonstration of techniques, safe adjustments, and creating your own classes. Through this program, you will gain a deeper understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, allowing you to develop your own style and address areas that need improvement. Additionally, each student will have the opportunity to lead classes and receive expert feedback.

During our 200-hour yoga instructor training, will gain a deeper understanding of the principles behind yoga and how they can enhance your personal values in future practices and in life. ASSIGNMENTS, ASSESSMENT, AND YOGA CERTIFICATION

To obtain the RYT 200 Yoga certification, attendance in all classes and completion of the required 200-hour yoga teacher training assessments mandatory. Students will be evaluated on their participation throughout the training and must pass a final written and practical test. Successful students will receive a Yoga Alliance 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate that is worldwide. In case of illness, students are requested to inform the Om Yoga Ashram team immediately to receive assistance and make up for missed classes.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Om Yoga Ashram Mcleodganj India - Daily Schedule ________________________________________________________________

The 200-hour Yoga program is a rigorous that dedicates almost every hour of the day to yoga The program can be intense but rewarding, with early morning meditation and yoga postures, as well as classes on philosophy and anatomy. Chanting and pranayama are also included, along with two to three yoga meals, fruit refreshments, and green tea. Daily written homework is assigned to deepen your knowledge of yoga, and an early bedtime is encouraged as part of the yogic practice.

  • The daily schedule includes
  •  waking up at 5:30 am, 
  • drinking herbal tea at 6:00 am,  
  • performing Shatkarma/Yogic cleansing at 6:15 am. 
  • Pranayama and meditation follow at 6:30 am, 
  • with yoga asana at 7:30 am.
  •  Breakfast is served at 9:00 am,
  •  followed by mantra at 10:00 am
  •  and yoga philosophy at 11:00 am.
  •  Lunch is at 1:00 pm, 
  • with self-study at 2:30 pm 
  • and anatomy at 3:00 pm. 
  • Yoga is practiced at 4:00 pm,
  •  followed by meditation at 5:30  pm 
  • and prayer at 6:30 pm.
  •  Dinner is served at 7:15 pm, 
  • and lights are turned off at 10:00 pm.

General Rules for Om Yoga Ashram

During the yoga course, it is required to dress modestly. Silence must be maintained between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Homework consisting of 4 to 5 answers must be submitted in writing the following day. Classes cannot be missed except in cases of illness. Outings, except on a day off, are not permitted. A final exam is conducted as part of the evaluation procedure. Admission to this course does not guarantee a yoga certification. The schedule is subject to change if the yoga course director deems it fit to do so.
